#Emaltu breaking news: Leaders of OLF in detention in Sheger City(Burayu) are missed.
The Oromo Liberation Front(OLF) leaders who have been held in detention for last three years are reportedly missed, and their whereabouts is unknown, family members are panicked.
The members and leaders of the opposition OLF political party are missed from their previous detention center in Birayu, Sheger City, the security in the detention center refused to disclose where these leaders are relocated since April18.
These are some of the OLF leaders held in detention centers being denied their right to liberty for over three years.
These Oromo leaders are shifted from one to another secrete detention and torture centers since January 2020. Most of them are now in a deteriorating mental and physical situation in which some are faced organ failure such as their kidney and liver.
These Oromo elite groups are targeted by the state apparatus to diminish the Oromo political space. This hunting of OLF leaders was started right after the millions of its supporters went out to Meskel Square to received and salute these leaders on their arrival in Finfine (Addis Ababa) from exile on September 15, 2018. The massive support the Organization got from its members, supporters and the Oromo people in general created fear and threat to the Abiy’s government that its structural discrimination began to target them to put in detention without court orde
Not surprisingly, the Oromo voice left wild as the Ethiopian human rights Organizations, media and international rights organizations and stakeholders over-looked, otherwise deliberately neglect it.
